I am so glad to meet you.
Hi there! I'm Jenna. I am a licensed therapist who works with creative kids, teens, and young adults--ages 8ish to 28ish. I meet with clients and their families virtually, as well as at my studio in Richmond, TX. I am currently avalable on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
I specialize in co-occurring neurodivergence and giftnedness, also known as Twice Exeptionality. My clients' perspectives are commonly shaped by: ADHD, learning differences, Autism, anxiety disorders, social anxiety, sensory processing differences, high IQ, heightened emotional capacity, artistic/musical creativity, and overall unique ways of thinking and feeling. These traits, especially when experienced together, often produce emotional, academic, or social struggle. Being a nonconventional thinker in a world full of (often unspoken!) rules and systems is hard and feels isolating, boring, or stifling. I aim to help clients and their families understand and embrace their wiring, yet implement adjustments and tools--ultimately striving for feelings of belonging, confidence, and success.
Please reach out to learn more about my work and if I'd be the right fit for you or your young person. Your grace and patience as I get my new practice up and running is very much appreciated. I'm grateful to be in it together.
